Are your products vegan?

Yes! All of our products are fully vegan.

 

Are your products gluten free?

​Most of our products are gluten-free, however if stated we can make everything gluten-free. However all of our products are made in a kitchen that contains gluten ingredients.

 

I have a nut allergy…

​All of our Cultured Cashew Cheeses are made from cashew nuts therefore, many of our products are not suitable for those with a nut allergy. Our Kraut does not contain nuts however they’re made in a kitchen that handles nuts.

Can you cater for weddings/parties/events?

How long do your products last for?

​Krauts – 6 months in the fridge

Cultured Cashew Cheese – 5 weeks in the fridge and can be frozen for up to 3 months

Breads – Best kept in the freezer and toasted from frozen before serving. Can be frozen for up to 3 months

Crackers – up to 2 weeks in sealed bag to avoiding staling

 

Do you use plastic?

​We are a big supporter of the plastic free movement and so do not use any plastic in our packaging and where possible we reduce, reuse or recycle. The clear film on our Graze Boxes and Salad Boxes are made compostable PLA - a bioplastic derived from plant sugars.

 

Is your packaging recyclable?

​Yes! Our packaging is either recyclable or compostable.

 

What are the benefits of eating fermented foods?

There a so many benefits from eating fermented foods and so perhaps I will do a blog on this in the future. However, here are just a few headlines if you start incorporating fermented foods into your daily diet:

o  Contain live probiotic bacteria and yeast that will improves Gut Health

o  The process of fermentation breaks down food components and makes it easier for our gut to digest.

o  Saving energy and releasing more available nutrients

o  95% of the body’s serotonin is produced within our gut which is the feel-good hormone.

o  70% of the cells which make up our immune system are found within the gut

o  Can prevent the growth of disease forming bacteria.

o  Fermented foods contain lactic acid which destroy harmful bacteria

o  Improves digestion and bloating

o  Recommended to take daily when prescribed a course of antibiotics

o  Can reduce blood pressure

o  Strengthens the immune system

o  Great source of antioxidants

o  Lowers blood pressure

o  Levels out blood pressure

o  Rich in minerals, vitamins (vitamin C and B’s), enzymes and a good source of fibre.
